As some of you may know I am a fan of Cambridge UTD. Sad I know but there you go! For those of you who have read Nick Hornby's 'Fever Pitch' you will know that Cambridge UTD hold the record for the most number of games without a win and I was a season ticket holder for the whole time!

I have been through many ups and downs with the team and for the last few years we have been playing non-league football in the Blue Square Premier League. Last year we got to Wembley in the play off final but lost to Exeter City so stayed in non-league for the last season.

Rogue and Shane Silverware The good news is that after an amazing Houdini act in the play off semi finals Cambridge are back at Wembley to face Torquay UTD in the play off final this coming Sunday. The support for the team has been amazing and Cambridge has already sold over 18,000 tickets for the game compared to 6,000 for Torquay. This is your chance to be a Cambridge fan for the night!

Michel at the Tavern Premier will be showing the game for me at 11pm on Sunday night. Rather than watch it alone (which would be rather sad) it would be quite nice if a few poeple came down to at least look as if they were interested! In an attempt to encourage (bribe) people to attend I will be buying the first 20 people who turn up a beer!
