Taipei Autumn Cup (Revised Sched) PDF Print E-mail

The Taipei Autumn Cup will be held this coming weekend on the usual CPL pitches.  After Red Star was forced to pull out, the groups and schedule were revised.  The final versions of both are posted below.

Group A: Red Lions, Pacers, Tubbies, Jhubei
Group B: JFC, Black Stars, Compass, Da An, On Tap Badgers
Group C: Carnegies, Massive, Shane, Celts
Group D: Phoenix, Eagles, Animals, Scunners

Games on Saturday are now 25 minutes in length. Group games will be round robin with final standings based on points, then goal difference, then goals scored. If all are the same, it will go to penalties.
On Sunday, the top two teams from each group will go through to the cup, which will be knock out/play for places. All other teams go through to a round robin league (5 teams in one group, 4 in the second), with the top teams from each league playing in the plate final. Cup games will be 25 minutes while plate games will be 16. Minimum of 118 minutes of football per team is guaranteed over the weekend.
